Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) assigns the Directorate of Fisheries (D-Fish) to control hygiene and food safety conditions of aquaculture farms (including the use of antibiotic and chemicals), Therefore, please contact with D-Fish for more information. Therefore, NAFIQAD takes samples from some aquaculture farms in aquaculture zones (currently, 163 aquaculture zones of 35 provinces/cities are monitored). NAFIQAD takes samples monthly according to monitoring plans and analyses food safety criteria including antibiotic and chemicals.
