The importation of fish and fishery products into Vietnam must be in compliance with Circular 25/2010/TT-BNNPTNT of 08 April 2010 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Accordingly, fish and fishery products must be produced by food business operators approved by NAFIQAD for food safety conditions. Registration procedure: Canada producers submit registration by the form in Appendix 3 (to Circular 25) to Canada Competent Authority of food safety, who then verify, endorse it and send it to NAFIQAD. Within 30 working days on receipt of the registration, NAFIQAD will update list of approved food business operators at http://www.nafiqad.gov.vn if the verification result is satisfactory - Circular 25/2010/TT-BNNPTNT “question and answer” is available at http://www.nafiqad.gov.vn/?set_language=en&cl=en
