Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has promulgated the Circular 05/2013/TT-BNNPTNT of January 21, 2013 amending some Articles of the Circular 13/2011/TT-BNNPTNT of March 16, 2011 guiding on the food safety control for imported foodstuff of plant origin, which will come into force as of July 1, 2013. NAFIQAD has notified this Circular to all Embassies of exporting countries in Hanoi.

For the purpose of food safety control over imported foodstuffs and protection of public health, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has promulgated the Circular No. 13/2011/TT-BNNPTNT of March 16,2011 guiding the food safety control for imported foodstuffs of plant origin. The circular shall come into force as of July 01, 2011.

In compliance with the Circular No. 25/2010/TT-BNNPTNT of April 8, 2010 coming into force from September 1st, 2010 and Circular No.13/2011/TT-BNNPTNT of March 16, 2011 coming into force from July 1, 2011, exporting countries have completed and submitted registration documents to NAFIQAD for approval. Following are lists of Countries and FBOs (by country) approved by NAFIQAD in accordance with the Circulars.
